Sardar Kesar Singh, the founder of Gripwell, was amongst those men of vision who could forsee the future, and turn the present to their advantage. Beginning on a modest scale in 1948, he rose to become a leader in his field.
This was essentially because of his positive vision-one that made him percieve solutions in problems and opportunities in challenges.
The result was a steady success leading to International recognition and goodwill. Although he sought retirement from active work in 1966, he left behind a rich legacy of sincere and honest work which continue to inspire his successors to new levels of international excellence. |

In November 2009, our Company completed 61 years of an eventful existence, a period which saw Gripwell grow from strength to strength and emerge as a reputable name in Hand Tools. Exports first began to the Middle East in 1964 and Gripwell has had a strong presence in Europe since 1969. In 1985, Gripwell Australia was established and today is a major importer and distributor of Hand Tools and Hardware in that country.
Gripwell products are today retailed / imported by some of the leading distributors of Hardware and Tools all over the world. Our guiding principle at Gripwell is " Total Customer Satisfaction". Towards this end, we have always strived to incorporate the best management and production processes in order to meet our customer's requirement in all respects.
In 1998, Gripwell Forgings & Tools was accredited to the ISO 9002 Quality System and in our continued quest for improvement, we have subsequently upgraded to the ISO 9001:2008 Quality System.
A number of our products are "GS" approved by TUV Rheinland, Germany for quality and safety, and each year we continue to add more products to this list. It is our constant endeavour to upgrade not just our product quality but all aspects of service, including delivery and cost, that we can provide to our valued customers.
